Wow,confusion central

Yesterday was my youngest daughters first day of kindergarden. On thursday when I was at the school they told my she would be in the a.m. class room 16. So I drop her off at school looking as cute as ever, not wanting to really leave my baby. About an hour later I get a call from the school to come pick her up, apparently she was switched to the p.m. class,but no one called to tell me (just a minor detail). So I pick her up about 9:45 and ask them if they verified that she is in the p.m. class oh yes I'm told so we go home and return at 11:15.When we get there the teacher who we were told that she had says no she is not on my roster, but I have room I'll just ad her.So, when I go to pick her up I'm told that she was moved into the other p.m. kindergarden class.And all my daughter had to say about the whole ordeal was,now I know kids in all the kindergarden classes mommy. Life through the eyes of a kindergardener. How many of us would have just got totally frustrated?

Many changes in my household this year. I have 7 children. Our oldest just had my first grandbaby tuesday. The last of the older batch is moving out in 2 weeks to go to college.And my baby is starting kindergarden this year. So this is the first time in 21 years that I will have time to myself each and everyday for 3 1/2 hours.I hope to get caught up on things like my sewing,crocheting and scrapbooking.Maybe start gardening again and get some closets cleaned out.Well thats fine for the first month of school, but what am I going to do the rest of the year?

Maybe I could actually have a few phone conversations without being interupted.Or actually take a bath without those infamous words "mom".Wait what will I be called if not mom or somebodies mom...what was my name before kids? I can't remember, maybe it will come to me,I will have plenty of time to think.

And of course I could spend more time on the internet. I can now look up all those questions my children have asked me over the years that I had no idea how to answer, but then again do I really need to know why a spider monkey is called a spider monkey? Does it eat spiders or something? And why is the sky blue and why is the grass green.Then again maybe I should just stick to crocheting.

20inch red hair just like mommies and dark eyes.What an experience, wait does this mean I'm officially old? Oh well who cares, she's beautiful. This girl is a clothes horse already her whole closet is full and shoes one for every outfit, spoiled? no way she's nana's little angel.
